A £150 payment will be made starting on Tuesday to more than six million disabled people in the UK to help with living expenses.
The payment will be given out by the government to eligible households over the next two weeks, from June 20 to July 4.
Those who qualify for the support are automatically paid, and no action is required on their part.
In September, a disability cost-of-living payment was made before this one.
For the most recent payment, those receiving the following disability benefits are qualified:.
- Living allowance for people with disabilities.
- Individual independence allowance.
- attendance bonus.
- disability benefits in Scotland.
- Independence pay for the armed forces.
- Consistent attendance bonus.
- Mobility supplement for war pension.
Aiming to assist struggling families with the rising cost of gas and electricity, cost-of-living payments were initially introduced.
Households could always use the funds however they saw fit because they were never specifically intended for these expenses.
