After staff members were accused of being sexually assaulted and raped, the organization is now in survival mode.
In response to the allegations of misconduct, some well-known brands among its 190,000-strong membership have left, including John Lewis and BMW. Other companies, like Tesco and Sainsbury's, have also stopped working with the group.

The allegations have caused the group to halt its regular operations, and it will only start up again if its members agree with its proposed course of action.
The group had "listened," according to Ms. Newton-Smith, director general of the CBI, and was "taking accountability.".
I don't think anyone had given up on us yet, she said to the BBC's PM program.

She continued, "We can be that voice where we have the confidence of our members.
