We're done, then.
Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts 2023 is officially over. We danced to Carly Rae Jepsen, sang along to Guns N' Roses, watched incredible performances by Blondie and WizKid, and eventually swayed to Lana Del Rey.
Even with six screens beaming the BBC iPlayer feeds simultaneously into your eyes, there is simply too much going on for you to keep up with.
Here are 13 of the most entertaining things we have seen in interviews, online and on the air over the last five days.
Who among us hasn't arrived at work 30 minutes late, with unkempt hair, and puffing on a vape?
There is Lana Del Rey. The US singer's tardy appearance on The Other Stage had a disastrous outcome because she careered past the curfew of midnight and had the power cut off six songs before the end of her set.
She attempted to speak to the audience by shouting from the stage lip after her microphone was cut off.
She asked, prompting a beautiful a cappella rendition of her breakthrough hit, "Bare minimum, can we at least play video games together?".
She then entered the crowd's viewing area to engage with fans and offer them hugs and condolences. It was a lovely moment that made you regret what might have been if she had been able to complete what had been, up until that point, a magical show.
With any other guy, you wouldn't get this.
Rick Astley was the undisputed king of Glastonbury. He performed a ridiculously jovial set on the Pyramid Stage, covering Harry Styles, playing the drums to AC/DC, and responding to messages written on flags held by fans.
I also miss my dog, I said.
The event culminated in a massive singalong to Never Gonna Give You Up with leotarded dancers and hula hoops, which redefined the meaning of the term "life-affirming.".
Amazingly, this was Astley's first time attending the festival. He told us, "I've dropped my daughter off quite a few times, but I've never been myself.
He certainly took advantage of the opportunity by performing a second, secret show with Stockport's Blossoms, an indie band that only performed The Smiths covers.
It was an even more unexpected victory, fueled by a beer and a toasted crumpet he gulped down on Blossoms' tour bus. They came out to the Coronation Street theme, played This Charming Man and Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now, and then they waved bunches of gladioli as they went.
He later remarked, "I'm obviously getting on in years and the guys are a lot younger than I am, more my daughter's age range.".
But I think it's really beautiful that we have a complete shared love for those songs and that band.
He said, "It's just been an amazing experience.". "Today has been fantastic. ".
Guns N' Roses played several stadium ballads toward the end of their headlining set on Saturday, giving Slash about 15 minutes to perform his "mountaintop guitar solo" routine.
The majority of listeners raised their phone lights as Axl Rose sang the line "The lights are shining bright.". However, not this guy. He pulled out a lighter and went old school. Irony then struck.
When Cate Blanchett joined Sparks for their Friday night performance on The Park Stage, Lydia Tár made her Glastonbury debut—sort of. Blanchett received an Oscar nomination earlier this year for her portrayal of the character.
When she unexpectedly made an appearance, she performed a live rendition of the song's music video, The Girl Is Crying in Her Latte, in which the actress spins her arms and stomps her knees in an oddly engrossing display of interpretive dance.
One of the weekend's most fantastic and bizarre cameos was that one. Additionally, Blanchett wasn't the only member of Hollywood's elite present.
Kate Hudson was seen dancing to Blondie's (incredible) Sunday afternoon show, while Andrew Garfield was seen admiring Sophie Ellis Bextor. Taron Egerton, who played Elton John in Rocketman, watched the star's performance from the side of the stage.
However, Rami Malek stole the show when he refused a security guard's offer to sit down and said, "But I'm just an ordinary man. ".
It was the weekend's worst-kept secret. Nobody was particularly surprised when a "mystery band" billed as The ChurnUps turned out to be the Foo Fighters.
The Pretender, Everlong, Best Of You, and All My Life comprised one of the weekend's most crushing rock sets when Dave Grohl and company took the stage at teatime on Friday. bangers non-stop.
The band arrived at the festival on a Friday morning 11:00 Great Western Railway service from London to Bath Spa, which was followed by a brief transfer in a minibus.
For Elton John's performance, Alex from Taunton worked on his headwear for the past FIVE YEARS. As a special Glastonbury tribute to his musical hero (represented here in Lego form), it is a replica of the Pyramid Stage with 3D-printed rockets and a ruby piano.
He was one of the ardent supporters who arrived at the venue at 4:00 a.m. to claim their spot in the front of the line and predicted "absolute fun and bedlam in the pit.".
I'm hoping the hat made it.
This past weekend, Louis Theroux attended performances by Raye, Digga D, Arctic Monkeys, and Elton John while having a great time.
On BBC One, he admitted, "I wanted to try a little bit of everything from the buffet.".
How, though, was he able to move about the area without being stopped and asked to do the Jiggle Jiggle every five minutes?
He answered, "A snood.". I won't put it on because it takes too long, but the snood goes over my face before the hat.
"I'm pretty much undetectable. I resemble a drill artist who is terrified of the police finding him or someone in a witness protection program. ".
"Spiritually, that's kind of the sweet spot where you sit," Laverne said in response. ".
Sophie Ellis Bextor told the large crowd that had gathered to see her on Sunday morning, "This is a very special day.
"First of all, I get to perform on this stage, which is pretty exciting. However, today is also my wedding anniversary. ".
She then went on to confess that she had made a serious gift-giving mistake before dedicating the stunning ballad Young Blood to her 18-year husband Richard Jones.
He's always better than me at this stuff, so I should have known better," she later said to me.
We decided against doing gifts, so yesterday I thought, "OK, I'll get him a card. I picked this really terrible, funny-bad card.
Then, today, he gave me a mug that contained my ring and was inscribed with the words "Glasto Sandamp;R 18" from the inside of my ring.
It's really lovely. incredibly unique. So I feel a little silly. I'm hoping the commitment made up for it a little. And I'll pay for the drinks later. ".
Lewis Capaldi found himself being lifted and carried by the Glastonbury crowd in a similar manner to Lana Del Rey after he lost his voice on stage.
The Scottish singer apologized before belting out Someone You Loved on the Pyramid Stage as his set closer after previously postponing three weeks of performances to rest and recover.
To be completely honest with everyone, he said, "I'm starting to lose my voice up here.". "But we're going to keep moving forward and keep going all the way to the end. Please join me in singing as loudly as you can, if that's okay.
As Capaldi, who was visibly upset, watched, the crowd duly came to his aid.
Although the performance may not have lived up to the 26-year-old's expectations, it was a lovely and heartfelt representation of the Glastonbury spirit.
A jeep pulled up and ejected two passengers, who then posed for their own photos and sped off to the safety of the artist's area, where our BBC Bristol colleague Chris Arnold was up at the Glastonbury sign taking a sunset selfie.
It's encouraging to see that even the most regal figures in rock are humbled by the magnitude of the event.
On The Other Stage, Central Cee performed their number-one hit Sprinter while Dave made a cameo appearance.
But he wasn't the only notable visitor. In addition, Central Cee brought out the young child who plays the lead role in the song's music video, who appeared appropriately adorable and bewildered. How sweet.
No one really enjoys camping, let's face it. Particularly at Glastonbury, where the terrain is roughly grid-like and where you are never more than two minutes away from someone tripping over your guy ropes.
Huge props go to the festivalgoer who went to the trouble of traveling to rural Somerset with an Ikea bed and setting it up inside their enormous tent, complete with a mattress, sheets, and pillows.
"Five journeys from the car to the campsite. Walking six miles in the sweltering heat was worth it, they gushed on Twitter.
Eli Crossley, 16, casually mentioned his dream to perform with his band, Askew, at Glastonbury earlier this year while discussing the disease Duchenne muscular dystrophy on BBC Breakfast.
After a brief social media campaign, he was on his way to The Rabbit Hole, the festival's underground secret location where they performed a 30-minute set.
We haven't really performed a proper show before, and Glastonbury is a daunting place to start, he admitted to the BBC backstage.
However, it was truly amazing. The Pyramid Stage is the next stop for next year. ".
Let's face it: Elton John performing what might have been his final UK performance was the focal point of the entire festival.
He came through with a tight, focused, emotional, brilliant, muscular, lyrical, jubilant, celebratory, pyrotechnic display of musicianship after Arctic Monkeys and Guns N' Roses' uneven headline performances.
Because he had so many hits, he quickly dropped Goodbye Yellow Brick Road and Your Song and continued playing after that. Don't Go Breaking My Heart, Tiny Dancer, I'm Still Standing, Philadelphia Freedom, Rocket Man, and Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me are some of the songs that are played. I might continue.
Some other people might have felt pressured to include some deep cuts or cram songs into a medley. But no. After 52 years on the road, Elton knows better than most how to please a crowd, so this was his way of saying "thank you" to the crowd.
That was the most incredible headlining performance that anyone has ever, ever, ever produced on that stage, ever, and no one will ever top that, as one fan put it. Ever. ".
She was right.
The fan who told Colin Paterson of the BBC's entertainment correspondent about arriving at the venue on the first day with rollers in her hair is undoubtedly the biggest legend of the weekend (OK, it's very debatable).
She mistook him for talking about the wheels on her luggage trolley. Chaos, laughter, and viral immortality followed.
Amazingly, Colin tracked her down again on the last day to see how her hairstyle was holding up. the video above.
