A singer from Jersey stated that it was an "absolute dream" to record at the renowned Maida Vale.
Sam Walwyn was the island's first musician to record at the BBC's west London studios in eight years.
The Recks from Sark in 2019 and Jersey's Lloyd Yates in 2015 are two additional musicians from the Channel Islands who have recorded at the studios.
Sam recalled: "There was the initial panic that I was going to record at the storied Maida Vale. ".
Three days before Bing Crosby passed away from a heart attack on a golf course in Spain in 1977, Sam recorded three of his original songs in Studio MV3, the location of Bing Crosby's final recording session.
Being here has been nothing short of a dream. Being in a space with so much cool music that has been absorbed into the walls is amazing, and now we have added our little soundbites, which is pretty cool," he said.
Sam was given the chance to record at Maida Vale with the bassist Andy Dodds and the drummer Craig Sellar thanks to BBC Music Introducing in the Channel Islands, a platform that promotes unsigned and obscure musicians.
