Adolfo Corrado of Italy has been named the 2023 BBC Cardiff Singer of the World.
A major event on the classical music calendar, the 10-day competition featured 16 singers, and the 29-year-old was declared the winner.
First Welsh singer to reach the finals in 20 years was soprano Jessica Robinson from Llandissilio, Pembrokeshire.
Singers perform a variety of classical and modern songs during the 1983-founded event.
