Later, there will be an inclusive music festival with young musicians with disabilities.
The Bacon Theatre stage in Cheltenham will host IncFest performers.
The festival's performers have been practicing for the performance for a year, under the direction of Gloucestershire nonprofit The Music Works.
The festival, according to Lee Holder with the nonprofit, "is a celebration of inclusion, talent, and the transformative power of music.".
"It is such an honor to see the remarkable development and successes of these young disabled musicians as they command attention and motivate us all. ".
The show is made so that everyone can participate and contribute by working with schools and students to choose songs for the performance.
Then, to help each school get ready, a digital songbook containing instructional content was distributed. This content included signing videos, audio tracks, and lyrics.
One of the festival's teachers remarked: "I have seen students play an instrument up front who will not speak or participate in activities at school. ".
"Then, when parents arrive to watch the concert, they find it hard to believe their child had the courage to participate and are frequently moved to tears because of how proud they are of what their child can do. ".
The young performers are empowered and can "unleash their full potential" thanks to the collaborative effort, according to The Music Works, which involves a variety of partners.
