The Victorious Festival has announced Kasabian as its headlining act for this summer.

After acid jazz band Jamiroquai tops the bill on Friday, the rock band will play on Saturday night at the three-day Portsmouth event.

Among the performers joining the lineup are Ben Howard, Alt-J, Pete Tong, Ellie Goulding, and Kaiser Chiefs.

In addition, Blossoms, The Charlatans, Friendly Fires, Natalie Imbruglia, and Belle and Sebastian have all been announced.

The festival's Friday headlining act is Jamiroquai, whose songs include Virtual Insanity and Deeper Underground.

Omid Djalili, Jason Manford, and Mock the Week star Dara O'Briain were among the "biggest and best names in comedy" that the organizers said they were also welcoming to Southsea.

More than 170,000 people attended the festival the year before, which featured performances by the Stereophonics, Paolo Nutini, and Sam Fender.

In the course of the incident, Hampshire Constabulary opened an inquiry into allegations of rape and sexual assault.

Along with other assault, public order, and drug offenses, three sexual offenses were reported.
