First-ever UK tours of the Tony-winning musical Hamilton are planned.
From 11 November to 24 February 2024, the show will run for 15 weeks at Manchester's Palace Theatre.
After spending two months at Edinburgh's Festival Theatre, it will tour the UK for the next few months; additional venues will be announced soon.
The tour, which was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, is currently casting, and tickets will go on sale the following month.
Since 2017, the Cameron Mackintosh and Jeffrey Seller production has been performing on the London West End; it is currently playing to sold-out audiences at the Victoria Palace Theatre.
In order to bring this fantastic show to our major cities, Cameron Mackintosh said: "I am thrilled that it is time to put together a second British national touring company.
"First opening in Manchester, then Edinburgh - not far from where the real Alexander Hamilton story began in Ayrshire, where his father was born in the 1700s, before he moved to Nevis in the West Indies.
"We begin casting tomorrow for a fantastic new business. We are excited to have visitors in "the room where it happens.". ".
ATG Theatre Card holders will be able to purchase tickets for the Manchester performances on March 10 at 10:00 GMT.
On March 13 at 10:00 GMT, general tickets will go on sale.
