A new venue has been chosen for a series of homecoming performances by comedian James Acaster.
Acaster, a Kettering native, will perform from November 29 through December 1 at Wicksteed Park in the community.
The Lighthouse Theatre, located in the Kettering Conference Centre, was scheduled to host the show's initial dates in August, but it will close on July 3.
For the rescheduled events at Wicksteed Park, priority will be given to ticket holders for the original performances.
On Friday morning, the remaining tickets will be put up for general sale.
Acaster, 38, previously supported a campaign to keep Wicksteed Park in Kettering from closing when it entered administration; the park later reopened.
The comedian is well-known for his stand-up specials on Netflix, his appearances on Would I Lie To You? and Mock The Week, as well as the Off Menu podcast with Ed Gamble.
He will also play a major role in the upcoming Ghostbusters movie.
Acacster was born and raised in Kettering, and he frequently refers to it in his stand-up comedy.
On The Great British Bake Off, he also made a meringue recreation of Wicksteed Park to represent his "happy place."
