Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer stunned spectators at London's O2 Arena by popping the question to his girlfriend live on stage while a performance was going on.
On Thursday night, the 65-year-old invited Dina De Luca to the stage before posing the question, "Will you marry me?".
His companion nodded as they hugged and kissed in the midst of thunderous cheers from the audience.
Awarded film scores by Zimmer include those for The Lion King and Pirates of the Caribbean.
He had been playing the second of his two scheduled concerts at the O2 Arena in Greenwich, south-east London, where he had been playing songs from many of his well-known soundtracks.
The composer summoned his partner to the stage during the performance and said, "Why did I bring you up here? I was going to ask you something really important. Do we have any sorbet in the freezer, is the milk in the refrigerator, and did you lock the back door?
Should we get married?
Zimmer continued playing songs with his now-fiancee sitting next to him after the proposal, which seems to have been accepted.
Time from the Academy Award-winning thriller Inception was performed after he told the audience that he had "this one little number left.".
Over the course of his career, the German composer—who has already been married twice—has been nominated for 12 Oscars and has won Best Score for both Dune and the Lion King (in 2022 and 1995, respectively).
