10,000 people visited the location over the course of four days as part of an amazing light show at Lincoln Cathedral, setting a record for one event.
Luxmuralis drew inspiration from the natural world for its immersive projection display.
The historic cathedral served as a "beautiful backdrop" for the performance last week, according to one of the participating artists, Peter Walker.
The cathedral reported that the reaction was "overwhelmingly positive.".
Artist Mr. Walker and composer David Harper have created a traveling exhibit called Life by Luxmuralis.
When discussing the performance, Mr. Walker said: "If you picture the magnificent interior of Lincoln Cathedral, you can pretty much guarantee that light and sound fill every square inch of it. ".
He compared it to viewing the "stained-glass windows of our time," noting that the "truly immersive" experience took guests on a journey from "sunrise to sunset" and included animals, oceans, and forests.
Speaking on behalf of the cathedral, a representative said: "Life by Luxmuralis has been a great success with more than 10,000 people coming to experience the sound and light show - that is the most people we have ever hosted for an event at the cathedral.
"The responses have generally been positive. ".
