A well-known local film festival will make its first-ever tour to present a lineup of short films.
Usually held in the town center, the Northampton Film Festival will this year tour Northamptonshire.
Films related to the festival and the neighborhood will be screened in March in Daventry, Corby, Wellingborough, and Lings.
A Q&A session with the directors will follow each screening, which will begin at 18:30 GMT.
The Opera, a short film by Corby filmmaker Danny Gibbons that was shot in Northampton and won best drama at the previous festival, will be screened first.
The festival has always been about celebrating film in all of Northamptonshire, so the director of the event, Becky Carrier, said: "We're really excited to be bringing Northampton Film Festival physically to other regions of the county.
