On the eve of the NHS's 75th birthday, a brand-new train with Aneurin Bevan's name on it has been unveiled.
The train was unveiled by train operator Great Western Rail (GWR) at Newport station, which is the one closest to Bevan's hometown of Tredegar.
Aneira Thomas, the first child born through the NHS, unveiled the train.
Aneurin Bevan, according to Transport for Wales' Lisa Cleminson, is "such a significant figure in Welsh history.".
She continued, "The Aneurin Bevan train stopping at stations along the South Wales mainline will be welcomed by everyone in the rail industry.".
The NHS is celebrating its 75th anniversary on Wednesday, and the unveiling of the train is just one of many celebrations happening throughout the UK.
