The 20th anniversary of a breast cancer fundraising event saw a record-breaking turnout of female participants.
On Sunday, 195 women drove their decorated farm tractors through south Norfolk and north Suffolk as part of the Pink Ladies Tractor Road Run.
In 2022, 112 tractors participated in the event, which has raised £896,000 over the years for Cancer Research UK's breast cancer appeal.
The Pink Ladies' goal of raising more than £1 million for breast cancer research has been closer than ever this year thanks to the more than £94,000 in online donations that have already been made.
After receiving a breast cancer diagnosis in 2009, Lynne Ainge, 61, of Norwich, ran in her tenth race.
It's the one occasion in my year that I prioritize over everything else, she said.
"I want to raise money, spread awareness, and inspire others who might be impacted. ".
The Pink Ladies will reveal the total amount raised from the 2023 event, which featured close to 200 tractors, in September.
