All four of the passengers on board the small plane that crashed into an active volcano in the Philippines last week have been found dead.
The two Australian passengers and two Filipino pilots' deaths were officially confirmed by authorities on Thursday.
Since Sunday, when the airplane wreckage was discovered about 300m (985ft) from the crater, search teams have combed the Mayan volcano's slopes.
The challenge now was to safely retrieve the bodies, according to officials.
Local Filipino authorities have stated that they will look into what caused the plane to crash.
Shortly after taking off for Manila from a nearby airport a few kilometers from Mayon, the Cessna 340 aircraft went missing on Saturday.
The deaths of its two citizens were confirmed by the Australian government on Thursday. For the Filipino power company Energy Corp., Simon Chipperfield and Karthi Santhanam had served as consultants.
Rufino James Crisostomo Jr., one of the pilots, was also identified by the company. likewise Joel Martin.
The Australian foreign minister sent her condolences to the crash victims' families.
The families of those who have died will be in mourning, and Penny Wong said, "Our hearts go out to them in this time of great grief." She also expressed sympathy and condolences.
