The venerable Wheel of Fortune game show will be run by American TV personality Ryan Seacrest starting in 2024.
Pat Sajak, who recently announced his retirement from hosting the show after more than 40 years, will be replaced by him.
Under the terms of a multi-year agreement, Seacrest will also work as a consultant producer.
The 48-year-old has hosted singing competitions and talk shows for years, becoming a well-known face on American television.
Vanna White will continue to co-host Wheel of Fortune.

Sajak was praised for the way he "always celebrated the contestants and made viewers at home feel at ease," in the words of the speaker.
According to the program's producers, Sajak, 76, will continue working there as a consultant.
Since 2002, Seacrest has served as the host of the singing competition American Idol.
He spent six years as a co-host on the well-known morning talk show Live with Kelly and Ryan before recently.
In 1981, Sajak started off as a Wheel of Fortune host. He surpassed Bob Barker of The Price Is Right to become the game show's longest-running host in 2018.
The primetime mainstay continues to draw 26 million viewers each week, according to Sony, and more than 10,000 people try out for the show each year.
