On Friday, a meeting of one of the organizations in charge of monitoring the Windsor Framework is scheduled.
Senior representatives from the UK and the EU make up the Specialised Committee.
It will evaluate how well the framework, which was decided upon in February, is being implemented.
With this agreement, trade between Northern Ireland and the rest of the UK will be made easier after Brexit.
The framework modifies the 2019 agreement known as the Northern Ireland Protocol, which kept Northern Ireland as part of the EU's single market for goods.
Although the Irish land border remained open as a result of this arrangement, goods entering Northern Ireland from the rest of the UK are now subject to checks and controls.
By expanding a trusted trader program and establishing a system of green lanes and red lanes at Northern Ireland ports, the new agreement should lessen trade friction between Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
This month, the UK released updated details and recommendations on how businesses should use the Windsor Framework.
Some business organizations are still worried that implementation on the current schedule will be challenging, though.
