Despite declining the club's two offers for a new contract, David Raya claims he is "really happy" at Brentford.
The club reportedly made him a new contract offer in January and last year, according to the 27-year-old Spanish goalkeeper.
According to reports, Raya is a player who would like to be acquired during the summer transfer window by Tottenham, Chelsea, and Manchester United.
Raya stated, "I don't believe now is the appropriate time to sign a contract.
"I'm really, really happy, but right now I'm just focused on giving my all for the team and pushing for Europe.
Raya has 144 appearances for the team since joining from Blackburn Rovers in 2019. His current contract with the Bees expires in the summer of 2024.
Brentford is currently in seventh place in the Premier League, six points behind fifth-place Tottenham and one game behind them in the race for the Europa League spot thanks to his eight shutouts this season.
I received new contract offers in January and last year, but we were unable to come to an agreement, he claimed.
"A new contract is currently secondary; the team and the games are what matter most. In May, we'll assess our situation.
"You never know what's going to happen next. Regarding what will occur over the summer, I am powerless to speak. Even I don't know what will occur on Saturday.
Raya, who represented Spain in his first senior international match in 2022 and was selected for their World Cup squad, claims that Brentford is his "home away from home.".
"It will always be home, no matter what," he said. One of my happiest periods in my career is currently.
On Saturday at Emirates Stadium, Brentford will play league-leading Arsenal.
