Web engineers who use JavaScript have traditionally had little access to machine learning (ML), which is almost exclusively the domain of programmers who use Python, according to the UEA.
The partnership will give students "cutting edge skills that can enable them to stand out from the crowd," according to Prof. Gerard Parr, head of UEA's School of Computing Sciences.
Several computing science course modules, including those devoted to data mining, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, will now incorporate the machine learning syllabus and supporting materials from the university.
